Bonnie Bonner
Bonnie was educated at the University of California Berkeley, where she studied English and Art. She has participated in exhibits throughout California including: the Berkeley Art Center, Quicksilver Mine Company in Forestville, Claremont Country Club in Oakland, Piedmont Community Center, Orchard Nursery in Lafayette, Heather Farm Gardens in Walnut Creek, a Muse Gallery in San Francisco, Lafayette Community Center, Danville Fine Arts Faire, Piedmont Harvest Festival, Nelly’s Java in Montclair, Piedmont Avenue Tulip Festival and the Huntington Library in San Marino.
As a past member of Junior Center of Art and Sciences, Bonnie has created sets and performed for the East Bay Children’s Theater, designed for the Oakland Art’s Council’s 1,000 Faces Mask-making Project, and participated in Oakland’s Pro Arts Firestorm Tile Mural Project where her art is permanently installed at the Rockridge Bart Station in Oakland. Her artwork has also been published in the San Francisco Chronicle newspaper and the Piedmont Post.
Bonnie is currently exploring the tradition of Botanical Art in watercolor, by studying with Filoli Florilegium Artist, Catherine Watters, since 2003.
Bonnie has received such enthusiasm and support from her patrons that she is eager to share Botanical Art with a larger audience. Offered in a limited edition of 50, all fine art giclee prints on archival paper with white matting are signed and numbered and available for sale as well as fully framed giclee prints and cards.
